    Campus legend had it that EBN (Emergency Broadcast Network) played a guerrilla show at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst in the spring of 1996. A white van and a man with a megaphone and a pistol arrived outside one of the dorms (the one that furnished the speedier of the two available batches of undergraduate LSD). Then this — mixed analog and live — bloomed across a bank of monitors.
